On Wednesday, 7 March 2007, F-15A 77-0104 departed Otis ANGB with its final destination being Barnes ANGB. The jet is to be put on display at the 104th FW. The jet was assigned to Colonel Anthony "KIMO" Schiavi, 102nd FW Vice Commander. Next to his name was a green star signifying his 1991 Iraqi MiG-23 kill, while flying with the 58th TFS / 33rd TFW.
Once it is placed on display, I hope to get some images of that.
Special thanks to:
KIMO for letting me know when it was headed to Barnes
All the 102nd FW members who maintained the jet, prepared it for flight and the pilot who flew it
Chris and Paul in the Barnes Airport management for arranging the tower shots
Daryl, Glen and Art in the tower for their assistance and warm hospitality
